At the end of a busy year of fundraising, Bristol solicitors, Metcalfes, were pleased to hand over a cheque for £8,579.68 to Abreast on Thursday 15th July 2010

"The money has been raised in various ways" said Metcalfes' solicitor, Judith Ellery, "We have organised many events such as Swap Shops, a Quiz and most recently a Football Tournament".

Dr Zoë Winters who is a breast cancer surgeon and the founder of Abreast, received the donation on behalf of Abreast. "We have been overwhelmed by the hard work and commitment of Metcalfes' staff. Their gift will greatly help our work and will benefit women with breast cancer facing surgery".
